This Car does 72 kilometres in a Litre of Petrol

In the third day of Shell Eco-marathon Asia, there was an exciting UrbanConcept mileage competition.

NUST (National University of sciences and technology) is one of the most reputable engineering universities in whole Asia. The students team of NUSTAG from NUST developed and presented their car with a mileage of 72 kilometres in only one litre of petrol and topped the competition.

There were about 55 UrbanConcept student teams in this competition with their innovative vehicles display. The main competition was for fuel economy using different technologies like battery electric power and fuel cell etc.

It is believed that if such a car comes on road, it can even beat Honda most popular CD 70 in fuel economy.
