The Need for Change
With over 1,700 incidents of theft reported in Karachi last year, Governor Tessori recognized the urgency of providing immediate assistance to the affected citizens.
How to Avail the Offer
To claim their new bikes and mobile phones, victims of street crimes need to present their original Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and First Information Reports (FIRs) at the Governor House.
Beyond Material Assistance: Health Insurance for All
Governor Tessori’s commitment extends beyond material compensation. He has also announced comprehensive health insurance, offering citizens free treatment up to Rs. 500,000 for themselves and their families. This inclusive initiative is open to everyone who meets the specified requirements.
Governor Tessori emphasized his commitment to transparent governance, stating that he has not sought any favors in exchange for his services since taking office. He aims to create an atmosphere of trust and accountability.
Holistic Approach: Ration, Iftar, and Skill Development
Governor Tessori’s initiatives go beyond immediate needs. Over 500,000 individuals have received free ration and iftar at the Governor House, showcasing a commitment to addressing hunger and providing essential support.
Moreover, recognizing the importance of skill development in the modern era, citizens will soon have access to free IT courses. The preparations for this initiative are in the final stages, promising to equip Karachi’s residents with valuable skills for the future.
