According to Biz SBS, a prominent Korean news media outlet, Samsung is planning to host its highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked launch event on January 17 in the United States. This date slightly contradicts the previously leaked date of January 18 by the renowned tipster Ice Universe. The variance may be attributed to the time difference between the US and China.
Boosting Revenue Amidst Semiconductor Slowdown
Reportedly, Samsung’s decision to introduce the Galaxy S24 earlier may be motivated by the need to bolster its revenue. The semiconductor market has been grappling with a slowdown, making it crucial for the tech giant to seek revenue streams elsewhere.
Additionally, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea on December 1, priced at €570. Notably, this marks the first time a Galaxy S FE model will be available in Samsung’s home market since 2020.
